Pager
The Pager is the key accessory of the OPEN Merchandising System, giving store professionals the flexibility to monitor critical products from anywhere in the store.
How does the Pager work?
The handheld device receives wireless notification when shoplifting activity takes place at the OPEN Merchandising System. Its OLED display indicates which product line caused the alarm as well as the location of the suspicious activity.
With its 2.5ms response time, store staff can respond to a threatening situation the moment it occurs. Most loss prevention solutions alarm too late - as the thief leaves the store. The Pager gives store professionals the opportunity to approach a suspect in a service-oriented manner while before he nears the exit.
Additional Applications
The Pager can be set to vibrate instead of alarm, making it an excellent tool for servicing honest shoppers in need of assistance.
Since the Pager displays the location of suspicious activity, security staff monitoring CCTV can activate the appropriate cameras based on the Pager's information.
